We all know to expect continuing ice and snow during the winter months, and our road crew is working hard to keep roads clear and safe. They are called out many times in the middle of the night, and must complete a full circuit of all township roads to make sure residents are as safe as possible during winter weather events. Please keep the following points in mind as we “weather the winter!” 

• Crews will plow/salt all roads during bad weather, and then repeat the circuit if snow/ice continues. They must plow all roads at least once before returning to repeat any.
• Residents are responsible for clearing snow thrown by plows into driveways, and for keeping mailboxes accessible to Postal delivery. 
• Cars parked in cul-de-sacs block plows from removing snow effectively. Please move all vehicles from cul-de-sacs when snow is predicted.
• Use common sense before driving during snowfall event.
