Turtlecreek Twp. Fire Department would like to remind everyone that you need to replace your smoke detectors every 10 years. Due to dust build up it is important to make sure that your home has working smoke detectors in the event of a fire.
Having a working smoke alarm can reduce your risk of death or injury from a fire by 1/2. The department would also like to remind you to test your smoke detectors once a month and replace your batteries every year
